Dura Composites of Clacton were winners of the 2017 Queen’s Award for Enterprise, International trade.

Since 1996 when Dura Composites was first established, the company has pioneered processes for composite materials addressing the limitations of traditional material design to produce strong and durable products for a great many construction, architectural and repair projects.  Examples include glass, reinforced plastics or fibreglass and timber products which often simulate natural material but do not need painting. Products have been used all round the world.
